In this video we show off our bathroom renovation, the goal of which was to add functional space to the bathroom. Previously, the vanity and the extended vanity counter top were the only storage spaces in this tiny bathroom. A mirror spanned the entire wall behind the vanity. Therefore, we removed this mirror, repaired and painted the wall. We added a medicine cabinet and some shelves to the wall (the latter are adorned with fabric-lined bamboo baskets). We added a bathroom storage unit on the diametrically opposite wall. Finally, we stripped, primed and painted the vanity to match the new storage cabinets. What remains is some detail work (e.g. caulking around the cabinets). We are already loving the new storage and added functionality of the bathroom.
